Sally Tye's experience in successfully co-owning, designing, building, managing, and selling three veterinary practices in Dallas, Carrollton and Plano, Texas is unparalleled in the veterinary consulting industry. As a practice management consultant, Sally brings over 35 years of experience as a practice owner, with in-depth knowledge in all aspects of veterinary practice management. She has 30 years of Practice Management Systems experience, including 11 years of Advanced Veterinary Systems/Better Choice, and 19 years of Cornerstone expertise. She is also familiar with several other PIMS.

From an owner’s perspective, Sally understands operational excellence that delivers a client experience that differentiates a truly outstanding practice. Initial facilities functional design, and building financing and construction. Practice management information systems that enhance workflow and profitability. Financial management systems that give you the information that you need when you need it, to track practice growth today and that aligns with your future strategies.

As an owner, hospital administrator and practice manager, Sally’s been responsible for end-to-end operations, from top-line growth to bottom-line profitability at the end of the day. From a veterinary business perspective, she really has been there and done it all, successfully, multiple times. At heart, Sally is an educator and a facilitator. And those experiences and skills combined bring a total consulting package skill set.

Sally holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Secondary Education, certified in Mathematics and Spanish. She speaks Spanish fluently. Sally and her husband, Ray, own three cats: Dis, Dat, and Duther; and an Anatolian Shepherd, Darcy.

Ray Tye brings over 35 years of experience in leadership development, strategy, organizational planning and operations, IT integration and cybersecurity, and business development. His background includes senior leadership positions ranging from business start-ups to Fortune 100 companies to government agencies and the military. Ray has over 30 years of consulting experience, and fully understands what works and doesn’t work in a client-consultant relationship.

From an owner's and consultant's perspective, Ray knows how to identify the areas that have the biggest impact on your practice. Crystalizing your vision and mission. Creating a compelling strategy and executing with excellence. Developing the leadership, management team and culture to help drive your successes. Ray knows that with leadership, a clear vision and well-thought out strategy, ordinary people are capable of doing extraordinary things.

As an experienced business owner, Ray understands that you have to work ON your practice as well as IN your practice. Owners are responsible FOR everything, but you can't DO everything yourself. You can  only focus on a few areas to create change that has a real and lasting impact. He helps you identify those areas and stay on target.

Ray holds Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Business Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin. His Master’s degree in Business Administration is from Texas State University. He is a retired U.S. Marine. Ray has one cat, Indy, who will turn 23 in November 2019, and maintains two 90-gallon and one 30-gallon freshwater aquariums.
